Built for the run south

The Voyage Timeline

The whole leg in order: ETA at every point with the wind, gusts, and seas forecast for that moment - not for when you left.

USACE channel depths

Maintained depths and widths for the IWW reaches you cross, from the Army Corps of Engineers, on every timeline.

Bridges with ETAs

Every bridge near your line, in order, with the time you reach it - so a bascule schedule never ambushes the afternoon.

Weather windows per leg

Scan 72 hours of departures for each hop and get emailed when a window matching your comfort level opens.

Fuel prices on the chart

Live prices from marinas that run their fuel dock on Marine OS, plus boater reports - pick the cheap dock before the gauge decides for you.

And we ship what you ask for

We are new and we build in days, not quarters. Report shoaling, request a feature, point out what the ICW actually needs - migrating boaters set this product's roadmap this fall.

Frequently asked

What is the ICW Migration Pass?

Free access to every Boater Pro feature in the Marine OS route planner through December 1, 2026 - weather routing, the Voyage Timeline with USACE channel depths and bridges, satellite layers, hurricane alerts, and shore monitoring. No card required: sign up, open the pass link, and the Norfolk-to-Miami template route is created in your account with Pro enabled.

Why free?

We are new, and we build fast - features ship in days, not quarters. The fall migration is the best possible test of a passage-planning tool, so we would rather have a thousand migrating boaters using it and telling us what is missing than charge the first season. Tell us what the ICW needs and it goes to the top of the list.

What does the planner know about the ICW specifically?

Federally maintained channel depths and widths straight from the US Army Corps of Engineers (the IWW reaches by county), bridges near the route with your ETA at each, official NOAA electronic charts as a map layer, weather and comfort ratings at the time you pass each point, live and boater-reported fuel prices, and anchor/shore monitoring while underway.

Is the Norfolk-to-Miami template a navigation route?

No - it is a planning template: named waypoints near the classic stops from Mile 0 to Mile 1090, meant to be adjusted to the magenta line, your draft, and local knowledge. It gives the Voyage Timeline something real to compute against on day one.

Planning the trip on your own terms first? The guides cover the method: ICW trip planning, making a passage plan, and picking weather windows.
