Terms of Use
Last updated: 9 June 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Marine OS marketing website at marine-sky.vercel.app. Use of the Marine OS product (at marine-os-lime.vercel.app or a successor URL) is governed by a separate Subscription Agreement presented at sign-up.
1. Acceptance
By accessing this site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
2. Permitted use
You may access and read content on this site for personal, non-commercial purposes, or to evaluate whether Marine OS is a fit for your marina, boatyard, yacht club, or charter operation. You may share links to public pages.
You may not:
- Scrape or systematically extract content beyond what is reasonable for an evaluation visit.
- Use content from this site to train AI models or build derivative datasets without our written permission.
- Misrepresent yourself as a Marine OS employee, partner, or customer.
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to access non-public portions of the site.
- Use the site in a way that violates law or these terms.
3. Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, images, code, logos, the Marine OS name — is owned by Marine OS or licensed to us, and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. Brand names and product names of third parties mentioned (Dockmaster, Marina Master, Pacsoft, Dockwa, Snag-A-Slip, Safe Harbor Marinas, etc.) are the property of their respective owners and are referenced for descriptive or comparative purposes only.
4. Forward-looking statements + early access
Marine OS is currently in early access. References to product features, integrations, or roadmap items may describe capabilities that are partly implemented, in active development, or planned. We'll be clear about what is shipped vs. coming-soon in product demos. Marketing-site content reflects our intent at the time of publication and is not a binding product commitment.
5. Blog content
Blog posts on this site cover marina-industry topics including operations, software, compliance, regulation, and pricing. Content is intended as general information, not specific legal, financial, regulatory, or operational advice. Always consult licensed professionals for advice specific to your operation.
6. Third-party links
This site links to third-party websites (vendors we mention, regulatory bodies, industry associations, etc.) for your convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.
7. Disclaimers
The site is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties — express or implied — about the site's availability, accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marine OS and its operators, officers, directors, contractors, and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits or lost data — arising from your use of this marketing site. Our aggregate liability for any claims relating to this site is limited to USD $100.
9. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Marine OS and its operators from any claims arising out of your use of the site in violation of these terms.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the site at any time, for any reason, without notice. The provisions of these terms that should reasonably survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, governing law) will survive termination.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms over time. The "Last updated" date will change. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law + venue
These terms are governed by the laws of India, where Marine OS is currently operated, without regard to conflicts-of-law principles. For any dispute relating to these terms or the site, you and Marine OS agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
13. Contact
Questions about these terms: support.marineos@gmail.com.
These Terms of Use are provided as a starting framework. They are not a substitute for legal advice. If you operate Marine OS as a business, have an attorney review and customize these terms for your jurisdiction and customer base — especially the product Subscription Agreement separately.
