FishingBooker is a marketplace that takes 15-20% of every trip booked through it. This is your own booking system at a flat monthly price: your website, your customers, your calendar, deposits straight to you, zero commission. Marketplaces can still send you trips - this makes sure your repeat and referral business stops paying the marketplace tax.
What does the weather guard actually do?
It watches the marine forecast (wind, gusts, waves) at your dock for every booked trip, up to five days out. Risky slots get flagged early, and instead of a morning of phone calls, guests get a rebooking offer before the cancellation happens - so weather days turn into rescheduled revenue instead of refunds.
Does it handle SEFHIER and federal trip reports?
That is the plan we are building toward: your booking manifest already contains most of what a federal electronic trip report needs, so reports get pre-filled from the trips you already ran. South Atlantic reporting is mandatory today and Gulf reporting is returning - captains in early access help us shape this first.
What does it cost?
Early-access captains get founding pricing locked for life. The reference point: if a marketplace books you $30,000 a season, its commission is $4,500-6,000 a year. This is a flat monthly subscription that costs less than one commissioned trip a month.
